More than 50 years ago, the carbide tool factory Andreas Maier GmbH was founded in Schwendi-Hörenhausen, Upper Swabia. We quickly became known to industrial companies from all over the world. Even then, customers appreciated us as a competent and innovative partner in the field of machining.
With the construction of a new production and administration building in 2000 the production area was doubled to 25.000 m².
Today, the family business is successfully managed by the second and third generation.
HAM employs a total of over 450 people worldwide, 240 of them at the main factory in Schwendi-Hörenhausen.
